Object being printed using Stratysys Dimension printer. Although I increase the scale of the object the printer was still unable to print the parts successfully. Instead of pursing this particular object I'm going try developing another design and the try using this printer again.

Variegation #2, neckpiece, is one of two in the Variegation Series that has been published in "The Jewellery Compendium".

Day 3

Totally engrossed in the Rhino CAD workshop. We did so may things with Rhino in the last two days it's hard to recount the events. I will have more to post @ the end of this week.

Rhino CAD Workshop

Day 1

I'm in Mansfield, Ohio taking a Rhino CAD workshop with Rhino trainer & drafting teacher Bruce Weirich.

Learned a great deal of information during our first day in our Rhino CAD workshop. By the end of the week we will create a duck (did this on Day 1), create an object inside of an object, design a ring, render and print objects and learn to create an animation.

Today our ducks are being printed on a Z Corp printer that prints using gypsum (think plaster) and a binder.  These objects are also printed in color.
